Bruce Thomas Insurance was founded in Battle Ground, Washington in 1974 by Bruce Thomas. The agency was established as an independent insurance agency, which allows the agency to represent several companies. In 1999 Bruce decided to go into semi retirement and his daughter Tammy Schwanz took over the agency. With Bruce still there part-time Tammy was able to gain knowledge from her father, plus she had the advantage to build the trust of her fathers customers.  With the agency being owned and operated by either Bruce or Tammy for so many years it has given us the opportunity to build bonds and relationships with many of our customers. When you call or walk in the door you’re a person and not a number or a name on a file.
